Taylor Swift Shares Shock Album ‘Evermore’

Taylor Swift has launched her ninth studio album Evermore, marking her second shock fall of 2020.

The singer-songwriter declared the project via Instagram on Thursday morning, virtually five months following its predecessor seemingly arrived out of nowhere.

Swift explained Evermore as a sister album to Folklore, her critically acclaimed project that gained her numerous 2021 Grammy nominations, which includes Album of the Year, Greatest Pop Vocal Album, and Song of the Calendar year (“Cardigan”) and Ideal Pop Duo/Grou Effectiveness (“Exile” with Bon Iver).

In Thursday’s announcement, Swift told enthusiasts she simply could not halt writing after she completed Folklore.

“I’ve never performed this right before. In the earlier I’ve generally treated albums as one particular-off eras and moved on to organizing the future one after an album was released,” she wrote on Instagram. “There was something various with Folklore. In producing it, I felt considerably less like I was departing and a lot more like I was returning.”

Evermore spans 17 tracks, which include two reward cuts. Haim, The National, and Bon Iver are credited as features.
