After ABB Records announced that they would be reissuing Little Brother’s classic sophomore album “The Minstrel Show” and releasing vinyl, the duo immediately went to social media to air their grievances.

Via Instagram, Phonte shared with fans that they have not been paid any royalty payments for their debut “The Listening” and “The Minstrel Show” for more than 15 years.

The North Carolina duo of Phonte and Big Pooh last came together in 2019 to drop their surprise new project May the Lord Watch project.  The must-hear effort sparked a mighty co-sign from fellow rapper/radio personality Torae.  This was the first Little Brother project to be released since 2010’s Leftback.
